Could you ever forgive someone for spreading a BIG secret?

Forgiving shows a huge level of integrity, but trusting them again shows a huge level of foolishness. I know that's hard to take, but I've learned the hard way with a couple of people that once a jerk finds they can drag you down, they will continue to do so. Sorry you got hurt. Hopefully people will see this person as untrustworthy and decietful, and trust you instead. Anyone who believes someone like that isn't worth worrying about, and if you take that person back, you are showing others that the jerk's actions are justified in your mind, and you can't allow that.
