Will my cat from India (unknown origin)be able to survive the temperature in NYC ?

I have 3 cats I found outside the house and they were with me for the past 3 months, they should be around 3-4 months old, healthy and travel outside play around and come back sleep with me, I feed them chicken, fish boiled as food 3 times a day. Now for a trip to NYC, I want to take my cats with me, I cant leave them here, they might put them in cages or somethin and may not feed them well like I do. Can my cat survive the cold weather ? Because the weather is extremely cold as -20 degree C, where as in India it is 30 degree C which is almost equal to 100 degree Farads , what are the risks ? What measures can I take during the travel if they are caged (since its the first time theyll be caged) how to safely take care of them during and after reaching the foreign country where immediately after landing they might be exposed to sharply cut down cold weather...if it is not advisable to carry them, I might want to arrange for alternatives...Please advice...
