Looking for an old motherboard socket 478 with an agp 8x slot and room for 4 sticks of ddr 3200 ram (3gb)?

don't wanna trash my old comp yet but the motherboard is damaged. don't know whether it is wise to get a motherboard and keep as a backup, get a motherboard then sell or just sell for pieces. i bought a geforce 8800 GT 512 mb AGP video card or something like that not too long ago as well as 2 sticks of 1gb ddr1 ram to go with my two 512 pieces. its an HP from about 2002 if that helps. dont know if the motherboard i stated above exists or if ill have to just find something close to that but any help would be appreciated. ps im very cheap and i live in canada. thx in advance for the help.
