How Can I Forgive Him?

This guy told his friends that i texted him saying 'i'd f*** him anyday if i wasn't with my current boyfriend' Two of his friends came up to me to ask if it was true and it is but i said no.....and they told me they got told by him..but i texted later on in the day and said 'Why did you tell kerry and daniella about that text?' and he lied to me saying he never they got his phone and read the text..I need help
